For Villa Baboushka, our brand strategy focused on creating a luxury, immersive shopping experience that goes beyond conventional retail. The core idea was to encourage customers to spend more time in the store by offering a variety of engaging experiences alongside fashion retail. From curated design shopping and personalized fashion consultations to artisanal cakes and specialty coffee, every element was designed to captivate visitors, fostering a sense of discovery and indulgence while reinforcing the brand’s premium identity.
Concept & Design →
The store was conceived as a grandmother’s mansion, where authenticity, fine arts, and refined taste converge to create a luxurious and immersive environment. Each chamber within the space is assigned an art installation that interprets and expresses the character of that “room,” turning shopping into a journey through a curated domestic world. A highlight of the design is the first café by one of Cairo’s top cake artisans, situated on a balcony within the store—an elegant setting that became the hottest morning coffee destination in West Cairo for several years. The overall design language is premium, grandiose, and meticulously curated, inviting visitors to explore, linger, and experience the brand in a deeply personal and memorable way.
